The 2015 vintage is, as Jancis Robinson notes, “a vintage worth making a fuss about”. And that is certainly true of our 2015 Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois. Brimful of black fruits, spice and slight woody notes, it’s a highly drinkable Haut-Médoc red.

Successor to the 2018 International Wine Challenge bronze medal winner, our 2015 Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois is equally delicious. It’s made by fifth generation winemaker Charles Ferré, whose estate in the northern Haut Médoc is close to the renowned Pauillac commune (and on the same terroir as many prestigious First Growths). It’s a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, that delivers dense, yet silky black fruit and spice. It has a great structure too, with that classic, appetising bite of tannin, alongside roasted woody notes linger. From the 2015 vintage, that’s full of velvety ripe fruit, now showing lovely maturity. The perfect bottle to open with classic roast meat dishes or a rich mushroom and vegetable pie.
