Casa Silva was founded by Emilio Bouchon who arrived in Chile from Bordeaux in 1892. Today, it's run by Mario Pablo Silva, who has made the property one of the leading estates in Chile. The family has pioneered new regions in Chile and has been at the forefront of research into Chilean viticulture. You can taste that expertise and enthusiasm in everything they produce. That includes this special edition Petit Verdot. Traditionally the late-ripening variety has played a small role in adding depth to the classic blends of Bordeaux, but here the team at Casa Silva allow Petit Verdot to shine solo. The result is an intense red with real depth and a powerful fruit and peppery punch. Enjoy this with grilled meats, veggie stews or at a barbecue.

"Bold fruit and layers of spice in this unusual red. Well worth a taste - it's delicious!" Leonardo Bassano
