For over 170 years this Champagne house has been crafting award-winning bubbly. Today they present this stunning new release – a rosé Champagne made from old-vine Pinot Noir with a dash of Chardonnay. All the grapes are from the family's own vineyards, situated within the little known Côte des Bar, described by Wine Folly as "the hottest Champagne region right now". The winemaker is 5th-generation Julian Fourrier, whose father, Philippe, created the Brigitte Delmotte range in honour of his wife. The Pinot grapes are all taken from vineyards first planted by Philippe and Brigitte – that's romance for you! This wine's rose-petal hue is achieved by the 'saignée method' – 'bleeding' of the free-run juice from the grapes. A rich and toasty fizz.
