For the ultimate in sparkling finesse, look for the Gosset name. Founded in 1584, the house has much to boast of, including the use of only 1er Cru and Grand Cru grapes. Long aged on lees and hand riddled, this rosé has unrivalled richness and power.

Over 430 years old, the House of Gosset is regarded by connoisseurs as the ultimate in luxury when it comes to fizz. And top scores from the world’s critics for this Grande Rosé bear this out. Pierre Gosset founded the business in 1584 and his wines were the favourite of France’s kings and queens for centuries. Today Gosset is in the safekeeping of the Cointreau family, who play an active part in the running of this magnificent Champagne estate. Only Premier and Grand Cru grapes are ever used in the wine, and, unusually for this region, no malolactic fermentation is permitted. The acidity simply mellows as the wine ages on it lees in bottle. Wine Advocate described it as “picture book Champagne of great finesse and delicacy”. Savour slowly.

"Pure, light, highly elegant, round and intense on the fruity-mineral palate, great finesse" Stephen Reinhardt
