As rosé Champagne sales soar, you’d be hard pressed to find a better value bubbly than this classic from leading independent Champagne house Paul Goerg. In 1950, eight grower families joined together to produce truly outstanding Champagnes. Word of mouth success means that cellar now tends 120 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards, centring on Champagne's Côte des Blanc. Here, the Chardonnay grape is king and so naturally is the dominant grape in this fine rosé, while the wine’s pretty pink hue comes from a small portion of Pinot Noir. Three years’ ageing adds toasty notes to its red berry fruit and refreshing mineral brightness. Served well chilled in tall flutes, its delicate raspberry and strawberry flavours are superb for any celebration.
