Château Gaudrelle is located in the heart of the Loire Valley between Tours and historic Amboise, overlooking the beautiful Loire river. Winemaker Alex Monmousseau took over the estate in 1984 and has since earned a well-deserved reputation for the uncompromising quality of his Vouvrays. His wines offer freshness and complexity that are among the very finest of the appellation.
The appellation of Vouvray produces the best-known Chenin Blanc in the Loire Valley
The domaine was first established in 1931 and the wines are made to show off the fantastic terroir of the region
Off-dry in style with just enough sweetness to balance the natural high acidity of Chenin Blanc. Incredibly crisp and refreshing, it makes an aperitif par excellence
Tasting note:A very harmonious, pure white with ripe apples, pears, honey and a silky, long, elegant finish. Perfect with sushi, smoked mackerel, spicy pork or a prosciutto and rocket salad.
