RoberParker.com’s Lisa Perrotti-Brown described 2017 as all about “finesse, perfume and aromatic intensity as opposed to weighty richness”. That comes across beautifully in Monregard La Croix, alongside the classic, fleshy roundness of the world’s greatest Merlot appellation. Jeb Dunnuck was particularly impressed, scoring it 88-90 points, while Antoni Galloni described its "Dark cherry, plum, lavender, licorice and chocolate notes". It’s so appealingly fruit forward that it’s likely to be an earlier drinker of the vintage, but still one you can cellar with confidence. Decant for at least an hour to enjoy it at its best and serve it with indulgent fare like roasted red meat in a dark, rich jus.

"Monregard La Croix 2017 has serious potential. A terrific Pomerol" Jeb Dunnuck
