This is an exciting, new release Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand's fabulous, sun kissed, ocean cooled vineyards in Marlborough. It's the top spot on the South Island for this grape and for all New Zealand too. The wine is named after one of the world's purest rivers where fish, like the one on the label, thrive. That about sums up the wonderful clarity of its Sauvignon fruit. What's more, 2019 was a big hit as a vintage, although yields were way down – great conditions right through harvest. All this means that you'll find superb intensity of guava, passionfruit and lime freshness in your glass, with underlying herbal, minerally zip. Just the ticket solo or for spicy Asian cuisine like stir fry or green curry, or with different seafood.

"So fresh and zesty, it's pure refreshment in your glass" Dan Parrott
