This château has been in the same family since 1730 and today, it’s Jacqueline Auduteau nd her son Thierry who carefully tend the vineyards. Made predominantly from Merlot, the juicy, fresh 2017 vintage is ripe and plummy with background spice. (Normally £9.99)
3x Château Haut-Branda 2017, Bordeaux
This Merlot-rich claret comes to us courtesy of fourth generation winemakers Nathalie and Bruno Ballet. Unoaked to allow the ripe fruit to shine, it’s packed with juicy red berries and plum flavours. Delicious with charcuterie and cheeses. (Normally £9.99)
3x Château la Rose Montauran 2014, Bordeaux
The winemaking at this family estate is overseen by Etienne Pélissié, former winemaker at Margaux’s Château Prieuré-Lichine. The 2014 has mellowed and softened beautifully, revealing spicy bramble flavours and velvety tannins. (Normally £9.99)
