Eleven Golds in three vintages for this terrific, handcrafted, Barossa and Clare Valley red from winemaking studio RedHeads. It’s made from grapes sourced from two exceptional growers – John Kalleske at his Koonunga estate – a legend and one of the best in the Barossa – and Richard Hughes, whose family have been farmers in the Clare Valley since 1856. Both provide fruit for our icon RedHeads wines, and Corroboree is no exception. Jancis Robinson MW described RedHeads’ winemaking crew as “genius”, while Wine Advocate said their wine “has to be tasted to be believed”. A weighty, full-on Shiraz with a cloak of toasty spice seamlessly integrated with the lush blackberry. Masterful with lamb dishes, barbecued steak or a hearty veggie casserole.
