An elegant and aromatic Vintage Port from Croft, one of the oldest port houses in Portugal's Douro Valley. Really delicious, it surges with rich berry fruit flavours. Fine wine critic James Suckling described the 2016 as "opulent yet restrained".

For an authentic vineyard experience, visit Croft’s flagship estate, Quinta da Roêda, at Pinhão in the heart of the Douro. For an authentic vintage port from a fabulous year look to the same name. With over 300 years of tradition behind it, Croft is one of the best known names in the Douro. The company was founded in York in 1588 by the Thompson family. In 1736 John Croft joined the firm. Today Croft’s jewel in the crown is Quinta da Roêda, one of the Douro’s finest estates, containing some of the region’s oldest vineyards, and the main source of wine for Croft’s vintage ports. This 2016 Croft, from an elegant and finessed vintage, is full of ripe and beautiful fruit flavour. Delicious now, but even better if cellared until 2025.
