If you are an avid listener to the shipping forecast, you'll have heard of Cromarty Firth. It's a beautiful spot in the Highlands of Scotland. That's where you'll find this award-winning, family-run brewery. It was founded in 2011 by the son Craig, who studied the art of brewing, but when he asked for finance only the bank of mum and dad would stump up the cash. The brewery has gone from strength to strength and we were particularly impressed by their Whiteout. Pale and Cara malts, with oats and wheat provide the base, with serious hoppiness from Citra, Mosaic, Motueka and Simcoe. Ace refreshment.
