Vin de France is an interesting category as it covers the whole of France, so it allows winemakers to be much more creative with their blending. So this Pinot Noir comes largely from the Languedoc but a touch of Burgundy grapes can be added into the blend. Aromas of black cherry and bramble fruit lead into a silky palate with hints of spice and cocoa on the finish from barrel ageing. A great match for charcuterie and cheeses.
