Bordeaux has been blessed in recent years with a run of terrific vintages. Neal Martin of Vinous recently called 2019 "excellent." Antoni Galloni concurred, "What stands out most about the finest 2019s is their exceptional balance." RobertParker.com described it as "through the roof good." Enjoy that excellence in this petit château Bordeaux from a family estate in the Entre Deux Mers. Run today by Thierry Faure, its vineyards are planted on clay, limestone and gravel soils, which favours all three of Bordeaux's prized grapes. Deliciously ripe and velvety with silky, rounded tannins, this is a very appealing Bordeaux. Still young, it's best opened early and decanted if you can. Serve with classic red meat dishes, a rich casserole or cheese.

"2019 is a wonderful vintage to finish the decade. It is a style of wine that I personally adore" Neal Martin
