Bachelet brothers Marc and Alexandre set up a 10-hectare organic estate in Burgundy in 2005 and from their first vintage, they've attracted enormous praise. Critic Neal Martin says: “If you have not discovered the Bachelet brothers yet, it’s time to do so.” Their estate includes superb vineyards in Maranges, Santenay and Puligny, plus a handful they have enfermage (under their management), all worked organically. For this charming village Burgundy, the brothers take three parcels of Pinot Noir – from Puligny, Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and Maranges – and carefully blend them to get a beautifully balanced, perfumed red. From a superb, ripe vintage, this is a delightful red to serve with white meats and mushroom dishes. Open early and decant.

"Bursting with aromas of red berries, petals and orange rind, medium-bodied, lively and perfumed" Wine Advocate
