This fine Grand Cru Riesling Schlossberg is from a highly respected domaine, praised in every major French wine guide. It’s part of the well respected Bott Geyl estate whose boss, Jean Christophe Bott, is a direct descendant of the 18th century founder, Jean Martin Geyl. The domaine was certified organic in 2000 and biodynamic two years later so now the vineyards are treated as one living organism, the health of which determines the health of the grapes and the consequent purity of flavour in the wine. The vines for this Grand Cru lie quite high up the slope, which results in the lean elegance and freshness of the wine, along with its great ability to age. This white is a fine accompaniment to the rich cuisine of Alsace or simple seafood.

"From the steep slopes of Grand Cru Schlossberg, this is a fine, pure fruit, mineral zipped Riesling" Sarah Everden
