The delicate pink wines of Provence are, for many, archetypal rosés, the sort that make your mouth water in anticipation from their appearance alone. Domaine Les Grès comes from 15 hectares of vines on granite-rich soils outside Collobrières in the Var. Most of the grapes are picked by hand, in the early morning to ensure freshness. This famous Côtes de Provence region enjoys a Mediterranean climate, well suited to the Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes that constitute the blend. It’s the perfect wine for sipping in the shade on a summer’s day, to enjoy with barbecued meats or seafood and salads. But don’t reserve this wine just for summer – it’s a delight with or without food all year round. Berry fruit and freshness in perfect balance.
