The Rossignols have been Burgundy growers for 500 years, while the Trapets have owned vines in Gevrey Chambertin since the 18th century. Working together, they're a force to be reckoned with in terms of expertise. The domaine is certified organic and run according to biodynamic principles. These methods lend fruit purity to the wines, while old vines (40 to 80 years old) bring real intensity. Their 2016 is deliciously compelling. The concentrated fruit fills your mouth with glorious perfume and intensity. Decant early and enjoy with chicken with morels.
