Think pink and you’ll most likely think Provence. It’s deservedly become known as the world’s best rosé region, famous for its pristine, elegant pinks. But with demand soaring, it’s become harder to track down top quality Provence rosé at an affordable price. That’s why we were thrilled to find Domaine Saint Laurent in the heart of Provence’s ‘Golden Triangle’.
With south-facing vineyards that take full advantage of the summer sun and cooling maritime breezes it’s no wonder that this appellation has become synonymous with the highest quality rosés all over the globe
This delightful drop was crafted by Vincent Guegen, who used Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre with a splash of Vermentino, all sourced from gravelly vineyards planted on slopes facing the Mediterranean
"Floral jasmine aromas and Peach Melba flavours lead to fresh red berry fruits, augmented with a rose petal expression. A well-made example." Decanter 90pts
Tasting note: Very pale pink in the glass, the nose is predominantly floral with notes of peach, apricot and mango. Rich yet crisp on the palate, citrus flavours cut cleanly through the white peach character. Superb with seafood or simply on its own in the sunshine.
