Domaine de Bel Air is a beautiful, small estate owned and run by the Mauroy family, winemakers in the region since 1635. We’ve just taken delivery of their 2018 vintage which is on incredible form, as you can tell by its gold medal. Like most of France, the Loire enjoyed a spectacular vintage in 2018 with the wines showing intense concentration without losing any freshness or finesse. Look forward to fresh, zippy aromatics of lemon and lime with delicate hints of white flowers. On the palate, it’s racy, complex and layered with subtle citrus fruit and a distinctive mineral freshness. A classic match for the Loire’s famous goat’s cheeses.
