Domaine de Thulon is a true, family-run estate who create superb wines in Beaujolais. Annie and René bought the estate, consisting of 8 hectares of vinyards and farm buildings, in 1987. Today their daughter, Carine, handles the commercial side of the estate while their son, Laurent, takes care of the winemaking.Harvested by hand, the grapes are whole bunch pressed, 10% is fermented in new oak barrels, the remaining 90% is fermented in stainless steelThe sloped vineyards in Beaujolais allow little mechanisation, this means even the most laborious of tasks must be carried out manually by the familyFrom the producers of the World’s Best Gamay 2018 - Meilleur Gamay du Monde. Beautiful pale lemon with golden reflections. The nose displays citrus notes and delicate white flowers.
