Situated between Beaune and the hallowed terroir of Corton, the wines of Savigny-Les-Beaune are among our favourites for quality and value. This one is new to our list from one of the oldest Burgundy wine domaines – Doudet-Naudin, founded in 1849. The 2008 is drinking extremely well now and with maturity has developed complex spicy notes to complement the silky berry fruits.
