Dönnhoff is one of the finest, most exciting family estates of Germany's Nahe. Dating back to 1750, it was headed up until recently by the founder's grandson Helmut Dönnhoff. The family is proud to own some of the best vineyards in all Nahe. Helmut has now handed over winemaking to his son, Cornelius, who has "bottled probably the best wine series in the history of the domaine" said Wine Advocate's Stephen Reinhardt. Critic James Suckling described the 2021 as being "so juicy, yet so filigree", with "so many white flowers that they fall out of the bouquet". The all-organic grapes are grown on south-southeast-facing volcanic slopes in Oberhausen, Felsenberg and Kieselberg. A white with superb ripeness and intensity. Great solo or with fish.

"So juicy and yet so filigree, this is a wonderful introduction to the light side of German Riesling" James Suckling
