Invivo selected for Averys Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2015

We first tasted Invivo wines back in 2009 when one of our wine advisors mentioned his cousin, Tim Lightbourne, had started a wine company with best friend Rob Cameron. As a result, we were first to launch Invivo wines in the UK.Invivo has taken the New Zealand wine scene by storm, winning ‘Best New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc’ and ‘Best International Sauvignon Blanc’ at the International Wine and Spirits CompetitionThis is made exclusively for Averys from top-sited vineyards in Marlborough’s Awatere and Wairau Valley. Expect a bit more restraint than some Marlborough Sauvignons Invivo's vineyards are in the Dashwood and Awatere valley and are blessed with their own unique microclimates. The hot days and cool nights allow the grapes ripen while retaining all the delicate aromatic flavours that are often lost in warmer climates . Very elegant on the nose with classic Marlborough tropical fruit. A crisp and fresh palate with passion fruit, green herbs, citrus acidity and a delicate minerality. This is a refined and aromatic white that will pair well with fish dishes and chicken stir-fries.
