Nestled between Margaux and Saint-Julien, Château Lamothe-Bergeron occupies some of the finest gravel soils of the left bank. This magical terroir warms the grapes, provides perfect drainage and produces wines with finesse and character.The winemaking at the estate is overseen by Hubert de Boüard, owner of Chateau Angelus in Saint-ÉmilionThe grapes are rigorously sorted and winemaking is adapted to each individual plot so that the best possible wine is made. It is aged in barrel for 12-18 months to add richness of flavour and spicy complexityAwarded 89 points by Wine Enthusiast Magazine who described it as “Classic Bordeaux in structure” . Rich and dark with very mature fruit this classic Bordeaux is drinking perfectly now. An equal blend of Cabernet and Merlot, it red would be a fantastic match for lamb roasted with honey and thyme or a grilled prime rib steak.
