Local grape Friulano has been growing in Friuli for centuries (formerly known as Tocai Friulano) and is noted for its delicate fruit, nutty richness and mineral complexity. A light golden colour with a rich nose of ripe apricots and almonds. Similar notes come through on the palate with lovely richness and depth of flavour. A ‘serious’ wine, especially for the price, with a creamy mouthfeel balanced by fresh, expressive acidity. Enjoy with pan-fried fish or
prosciutto and rocket salad.
