Since its launch in 1997, Casa Silva has become widely regarded as one of Chile’s best wineries, awarded South America Winery of the Year by IWSC in 2000. Today it is the most awarded winery in Chile. It's run by Mario Silva, a fourth generation winemaker of Chile's finest wine dynasty, with his offspring now helping out. The cellar started in Angostura, Colchagua, and has now branched out into Paredones, a new region, just 6km from the coast, described by Decanter as "a source of terrific whites and reds". Casa Silva are ardent pioneers, passionate about cool climate wines, like this bright Chardonnay Semillon. Full of passion fruit, apple and zippy lemon, it's delicious on its own, and great too with spicy seafood or noodles.

"Highly sippable, balancing the freshness of the fruit and acidity with a little creamy generosity" Tom Cannavan
