The red wines of Bordeaux tend to overshadow the appetising whites of this great region. Yet they offer particularly good value. Château Camarsan is a property in the Entre Deux Mers owned by the Coutureau family for five generations. You can taste the expertise in every bottle. To craft their Camarsan Blanc they combine 80% Sémillon and 20% Colombard for a perfect balance of peach, pear and citrus flavour. It’s then aged on its lees for a creamy richness but left unoaked, to deliver a bright, crisp and fruity style of white. With its lovely roundness and an invitingly fresh finish, this is a bottle that won’t disappoint. The perfect white to have chilling in the fridge door ready to sip solo or enjoy with a light shellfish dish or salad.
