From Ilkley, not far from the brewery mecca of Leeds, comes this richly flavoured IPA. Using rye malt to lend spice, with a tasty balance of grapefruit and lychee. Big on flavour, easy on abv.

Boldly hoppy aromas, citrusy
Leeds and neighbouring Ilkley make terrific beers. Must be something to do with the water. That and some terrific enthusiasm and expertise. The Ilkley Brewery is delighted to have the young Italian brewer Alessandre Confessore in charge today, along with her dog Snoopy. All their malts are UK grown, their favourite and most often used is from family firm Simpsons in Berwick upon Tweed. Enjoy here the Alpha Beta - there's body and depth from the rye, with forward American hoppy aromas (Citrus, Eureka and Colombus) and refreshing bitterness.
