Since 1935 the Goudoulin Armagnac house has built up a reputation for their fine Armagnac. Aged in oak barrels to develop its complex flavours, each release is bottled, labelled and capped by hand. This is their intensely flavoured and fiery VS Armagnac. Armagnac is the oldest French brandy. It was known in the Middle Ages for its medicinal properties and has been exported round the globe since the 16th century ”VS” stands for “Very Special” – also be represented by three stars. These are the youngest of the Armagnac family and are enjoyed for their fresh fruit notes and spicy heatThis is a delicious ‘entry level’ Armagnac – perfect with cocktails but just as good when sipped solo. Very fresh fruity nose – pear, plum and grape – with fiery spices and a touch of vanilla from two years oak ageing.
