You can be sure of lots of juicy summer berry fruit in this deep hued pink from South Africa. It's made by Gerhard Swart, whom Bruce Jack (himself well renowned in wine circles) calls "the best winemaker I have ever met." Well Gerhard did win the coveted General Smuts Trophy in 2010, one of the youngest ever to do so. Crush magazine wrote, "what makes him truly exceptional is understanding the language of grapes from vineyard to cellar, in order to bring out the star quality of each vine." We love what he has done here with Cinsaut, bringing out all the fruit and freshness, along with a deep colour. A pink full of fun that certainly would be great, well chilled, with lobster, or any seafood, or creamy pasta. It's irresistible solo too.

"Fun-filled rosé from South Africa's Gerhard Swart. Brimful of berry fruit. A bit too moreish!" Kirsten Willis
