Grape growers for five generations, the Manzanos family constructed a modern winery of timeless elegance at the heart of the Rioja appellation in 2002. Situated at the point where the Ebro and Ega rivers meet, the landscape is stunning as well as providing great conditions for the vines. Juicy Tempranillo and spicy Graciano grapes from old vines, grown high at 400 metres above sea level, are key factors to the wine’s gorgeous richness and complexity. It was matured in French and American oak barrels for 36 months, plus over four years in bottle to allow all the complex flavour to integrate. With layers of vanilla spice, forest floor, tobacco and cooked plum, it's the perfect red to pair with tapas or roast lamb, or to savour on its own.
