Clefs du Pontif Marsanne Viognier comes from vineyards near the small town of Argeliers in the Languedoc but was inspired by the magnificent whites of the Rhône Valley. Created just for us by Languedoc experts, the Clefs du Pontif white is a blend of Marsanne and Viognier. The addition of Marsanne – the key grape of white Hermitage and a mainstay of white Châteauneuf du Pape – adds length and longevity to the Viognier (as it does for many of the Rhône’s top whites). Very fresh and vibrant on the palate with ripe apricot and white peaches leading to a finish of cut grass freshness. With good weight and a mouthfilling texture, it’s very versatile with food. Enjoy with grilled fish, Mediterranean vegetables or roast chicken.
