It’s John’s homage to the rule breaking Super Tuscans that shot to fame in the 1980s when Chianti producers began adding illegal ‘international’ varieties like Cabernet to their Sangiovese. Pricier examples go for hundreds of pounds a bottle, so you can imagine how thrilled we were to secure you this great value example from such an accomplished winemaker.
