More information
Glendullan was built in 1897, the last of seven distilleries founded in and around Dufftown, Speyside. Production got off to a rolling start and only stopped with the barley shortages during WW2. Since then, the Glendullan distillery hasn’t looked back. Speyside has the greatest concentration of distilleries in Scotland. The perfect climate, a clear, fresh water supply, and fertile barley growing fields makes here the ideal place for whisky to mature. With a light, malty style and gentle sweetness, this Glendullan is a little richer than Lowland whiskies and more elegant than a Highland malt. First selected as a 15 years old, it was allowed an extra 24 months in cask to add even more mellow flavours. There's plenty to savour here.
