Despite devastating spring frosts, which heavily reduced yields, but not quality, 2017 was a year of "overall balance and charm. Some brilliant wines were made" (Jeb Dunnock), while Lisa Perrotti Brown of Wine Advocate wrote, "2017 is all about finesse, perfume and aromatic intensity." For this label, we wanted a wine that expressed the essence of this very fine appellation. We were delighted to work with one of the very best names in Bordeaux to blend this great Pauillac. It comes from the southeast of the commune, from vines overlooking the Gironde estuary. The result is a structured wine with richness, elegance and real depth and structure. Open a couple of hours ahead, decant and enjoy with venison, rack of lamb or vegetable gratin.
