This is a very fine claret, thanks partly to the outstanding quality of the vintage. Top critic James Suckling wrote, "2019 delivers some fantastic wines" in Bordeaux, saying “Harmony, balance and freshness are definitely the hallmarks of the 2019”. For this label, we wanted a wine that expressed the very essence of this fine appellation. We were delighted to work with one of the very best names in Bordeaux, who blended us this great Pauillac. It comes from the southeast of the commune, from vines overlooking the Gironde estuary. The result is a wine with richness, elegance, real depth and structure. Velvety blackcurrant aromas with smoky, savoury spice. Open a couple of hours ahead, decant and enjoy with venison, lamb or a rich casserole.
