Yarrunga Field Special Reserve Rosé 2019

New South Wales

The first Yarrunga Field was the white, back in the early 1990s. This rosé was not launched until 2014 and proved such a success we wished we’d thought of it sooner. A pink that's both refreshing and full of delicious fruity flavour. Irresistible.

We first introduced Yarrunga Field in the 1990s and tely stars Jilly Goolden and Oz Clarke championed it with a passion. That was the fresh, fruity white. Since 2014, we've also brought you this robust, full-on rosé mainly from Shiraz grapes, with a splash of Pinot Noir for its softer berry fruit and also Pinot Gris for a touch of spice. It's made by the talented Emma Norbiato at the much loved Calabria family estate. A gentle crushing and quick separation of juice from the skins leads to a deep pink hue, as you might expect from punchy Shiraz. In flavour you get that unmistakable blackberry and raspberry fruit with just a hint of pepper spice. It's ideal with salmon or seared tuna or, in the summer, with barbecued chicken or veggie kebabs.

"Punchy rosé. A full bodied rosé that is a good alternative to red. Will buy again" Online Review
