As soon as you open the bottle, you’ll release those unmistakeable aromas of a classic Alsatian Gewurztraminer (think gorgeous rose petal, lychee and honeysuckle). They were captured by the deft winemaking skills of Philippe Gisselbrecht, whose family has been crafting wines in Alsace for centuries. The Pierre Brecht range is an offshoot of the family cellar, established by Philippe and his brother Claude. They wanted to produce small batches of quality wines crafted from the finest fruit, using a combination of traditional techniques and up to the minute equipment. A long, slow, chilled fermentation extracts maximum fruit character and makes this Gewurz extra crisp. As such, this is a wine you can enjoy on its own, or with Asian cuisine.
