Averys Montepulciano d’Abruzzo has long been one of our most popular reds, so we’re thrilled to share with you the 2019 vintage. Cooler autumn weather means it brings lots of crunchy fruit to the party. As always, it's made for us by Dario Bove (whose own wine, Indio, sells for twice this price) in the same easy drinking style. Partially aged in oak, it combines the bright cherry fruit of Montepulciano with a soft supple character and a touch of spice. This is the ninth vintage and it continues to delight its many followers, while winning over new ones, year after year. With lots of juicy fruit and a soft, mouthfilling texture, it’s extremely versatile with food. Enjoy with charcuterie, a spicy sausage supper or tomato-based pasta dishes.
