Señorio de Sarria Reserva Especial is the top wine made at Bodegas de Sarria in Navarra and is only made in the best vintages. Bodega de Sarria lies on a large and beautiful estate in the hills above Puenta la Reina, near Pamplona. Made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon, Señorio de Sarria Reserva comes entirely from grapes hand-picked from the estate’s vineyards in the premium Navarra regions of Valdizarbe and Ribera AltaAged for two years in top quality French and American oak barrels, followed by extended bottle maturation in the cellars of the estate, it’s only released when ready to enjoyThis is a serious red that shows Navarra deserves to be considered up there with the very best of Spain. On the nose, rich black fruits are enhanced by touches of vanilla and cocoa. Intensely concentrated yet supremely elegant with silky smooth tannins on the finish, it’s already drinking superbly but has plenty of potential for cellaring.
