If you enjoy top quality Australian Shiraz, or perhaps a classy Rhône Syrah, you’re going to adore this red. Sure, it’s big, bold and rich, but it’s no Aussie fruit bomb – it’s complex, textured and perfectly poised. Just as you’d expect from an estate with such an impressive pedigree – 6,000 awards, including 78 Trophies and 1,122 Golds. Bill Taylor – grandfather of the current custodian, Mitchell – first set foot on the estate on the same day that Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon, in 1969. Since then the family has been at the forefront of the country’s wine industry. They were the first Aussie winery to bottle 100% under screwcap and they’re committed to producing wines sustainably. Enjoy this red with rich lamb or game dishes.
