The crack team at RedHeads source grapes from exceptional growers in South Australia. They discovered a fabulous parcel of Italy's top flight Fiano in the cool Langhorne Creek. This ripe peachy, citrusy white, with a kiss of oak, is the result.

RedHeads has been blazing a trail since 2003, first in the McLaren Vale, now in the Barossa. They like to show the Big Boys of these smart regions that they're a winemaking force to be reckoned with. They’ve always worked closely with the best growers, wherever they discover the finest grapes. They like to rescue these small parcels of fruit from the anonymous big blends and make amazing wines. The Fiano is from Brad Case, a sustainable grower in top spot Langhorne Creek. 2019 was a hot vintage, but cool summer nights slowed ripening and lend finesse and balance. Fermented and aged three months in barrel, the wine has lovely ripe melon and citrus with the cheekiest kiss of oak. On its own, with chicken or creamy pasta, it's a real winner.
