Our friendship with the Murúa family goes back even further, so much so that Javier Murúa – the talent behind this contemporary, fruit-driven red – calls us up after the vintage so we can get the first pick on their finest vats. Together we thought this close bond and 20 years of bestselling Barón de Barbón was a worthy cause for celebration. Javier crafted this celebratory edition from special parcels of old-vine Tempranillo. Cask-aged in American oak for 8 months, this red is supple and full of character. Celebrate 20 years of friendship with this Rioja. Great solo or with food.
