Only the third vintage ever released of this luxury expression, this wine is made with fruit sourced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards in Aÿ, Verzenay, Ambonnay and Bouzy (Pinot Noir), and Avize and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger (Chardonnay). The grapes are hand harvested and then pressed and vinified at Deutz’s winery in Aÿ. And 2008 was an exceptional vintage, producing wines of supreme precision and depth. The wine was then aged for 8 years on the lees. The result is full, refined and complex. Enjoy notes of crushed strawberries, blackcurrants and delicate spice in harmony with notes of patisserie. A sumptuous aperitif, it will also partner well with delicate, subtle, and even spicy dishes and makes the perfect match with grilled lobster.
