Voted one of The World’s Most Admired Wine Brands 2022, Santa Rita has a century of winemaking heritage and prides itself on the quality of its impressive portfolio. Pewën is their flagship Carmenère, a leader of its kind in Chile. It's Chile’s signature grape, grown around the country, but the best comes from prized Apalta in Colchagua Valley. Combining Apalta’s micro-climate with 80-year old vines and low yields, the wine has an outstanding concentration, deep fruit, freshness and the structure to age. Vina Santa Rita’s winemaker, Sebastian Labbé, has matured the wine in part new oak for 18 months giving luxurious layers of chocolate and tobacco to the vibrant black fruits. For drinking now, open early. It has great cellaring potential.
