Oude Kaap Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is named after the Cape of Good Hope, known as ‘Old Cape’ to the Dutch settlers who first made wine in South Africa over 350 years ago. But it was when the French Huguenots settled at the Cape, bringing their vines with them, that South African winemaking really began to flourish. To this day, you can taste the French influence in their wines. Like Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, which elegantly straddles the Old World and the New in style. Fresh aromas of tropical fruits with a hint of stony minerality and fresh green herbs. Dry and refreshing with passion fruit, a twist of lemon and a crisp, grassy notes that echo France’s star Sauvignons. It’s fabulous solo or with fresh fish or a spicy prawn and avocado salad.

"I love the grassy freshness partnered perfectly with a real zip and zing in this Cape Sauvignon" Kirsten Willis
