Pigassou Blanc 2021

Coteaux de Peyriac IGP

Sibling white wine to our much-loved Pigassou red and equally easy drinking. The white is back due to high demand. It's a refreshing blend of Languedoc locals Marsanne, Macabeu, Vermentino and Grenache Blanc – lightly tropical and lemony crisp.

Pigassou sums up everything rural, laidback and French. Relaxed lunches in the warm Mediterranean sunshine, that stretch well into the afternoon. An appealing, easy-drinking wine only helps it all along. You've experienced it with our velvety, soft-fruit red version. Now enjoy the same insouciance with its sibling white. Winemaker Sylvain Delabre knows all the local growers very well and uses a selection of traditional grapes, the varieties that have been around for centuries, to make up this white. Locals Marsanne, Macabeu, Vermentino and Grenache Blanc, it hits just the right note of weight and freshness. Chill the bottle down, lay out your picnic and enjoy. It'll go with most things and is very refreshing to sip on its own, too.
