Tèrra Autentica is a dark, concentrated red from a Languedoc 'Grand Cru', just west of Montpellier. Terrasses du Larzac has such good conditions and produces such outstanding wines that it was granted its own AOC status in 2014. It comes from the Fonjoya cellar, which was created in 2018 by merging two great wineries – Saint-Félix-Saint-Jean and Saint Saturnin de Lucien. Backed by the Causse de Larzac, the region's vineyards enjoy hot days, while temperatures drop dramatically at night, perfect for ripening the grapes. Plus, large-pebbled soils help store heat to give out at night. Mostly Syrah, plus Grenache and Carignan, all fermented in concrete for purity, this red is best opened early and decanted, or cellared. Ideal with beef stew.
