With leap-from-the-glass, grassy-fresh, citrusy aromas, it’s unsurprising South Africa’s Gooseberry Bush outsells our NZ Sauvignons every year! Amazing value and super-fresh – enjoy the new 2022 vintage from a handy, even better value, 3L wine box.

The Gooseberry Bush is a pride and joy release from Bon Courage, one of Robertson’s most highly acclaimed wineries. It has a huge loyal following and shows whites of explosive fruity appeal are by no means the unique preserve of New Zealand! Nestled between the Breede River and the Langeberg Mountains in beautiful Robertson, Bon Courage has been in the Bruwer family since 1921. They win accolades aplenty, both at home and abroad, including the Best White Blend Trophy for this particular wine a few years back. The Gooseberry Bush is a fresh and racy mix of grassy, kiwi-fruit-scented Colombard and lemony Sauvignon Blanc, picked in the early morning and fermented cool. A great party white or glass solo, or partner to spicy stir-fry and salads.
